Our Team
What sets CORE apart is our coaching staff!
At CORE, we maintain the highest standards for our coaches, who bring expertise not only in sports performance but also in child development. We believe that the quality of our staff directly impacts the quality of our programs.
Our coaches not only love sports—they love people!
This is reflected in the backgrounds of our team, many of whom hold or are pursuing degrees in sociology, psychology, sports psychology, and sports science–fields that deepen their ability to connect with and support young athletes. We know kids deserve respect, patience, and care as well as a rich learning environment taught by leaders who care about their wellbeing.
We also know that team sports are an ideal space for social-emotional development. That is why every CORE coach is required to complete a social-emotional learning (SEL) training course before they lead a program. From emotional regulation and empathy to conflict resolution and inclusion, our coaches are equipped to use every moment of play as an opportunity to foster positive growth and fortify social relationships—on and off the playing field.
CORE coaches understand the powerful role that physical activity and participation in sports can play in supporting a child’s mental and physical health. They know that the benefits of play extend far beyond the field, and that every moment on the field is an opportunity to build character and connection.
Through sports, children build life skills—our coaches deliver meaningful instruction to assist kids in acquiring and applying the knowledge, skills, and mindsets to build healthy identities, manage emotions, make responsible decisions, and achieve their goals.
At CORE, we help kids grow into their best selves—physically, emotionally, and socially.
